Wellness Coaching

Yoga & Ayurveda develops the balance of mind, body, and spirit using natural approaches and personalized treatments to support mental well-being and spiritual growth.

Ayurveda– the ancient science of life views the root cause of all ‘dis-ease’ to be disconnection from our true nature.  As the sister science of yoga, it works fundamentally to bring us back into alignment with ourselves restoring harmony and self-awareness facilitating the unfolding of your full potential in life

Yoga psychology offers a template for understanding oneself on a journey of evolving consciousness. As a Wellness Coach I support you to make gradual adjustments in areas of your life that need attention. This might include taking a holistic look at your diet and lifestyle habits as well as using psycho-spiritual education to explore together incorporating yogic tools like mindfulness meditation, breathwork, and self-enquiry for deeper transformation and self-realisation.

The concept behind Triguna therapy is the three gunas - or modes of nature—sattva, rajas, and tamas—which are the fundamental qualities from Yoga & Ayurveda psychology that shape our mental states. Sattva is about clarity, balance, and calmness, leading to peace and good decision-making. Rajas is associated with activity, passion, and restlessness, which can drive ambition but also lead to anxiety. Tamas, on the other hand, represents inertia, laziness, and confusion, often leading to lethargy and a lack of motivation.

Psychotherapy begins with the journey from tamas to rajas – making what is unconscious – conscious. Ayurveda & Yoga give us the tools to further develop our darkness into light by creating more sattva in our being. By understanding and balancing these gunas, we can promote self-transformation and spiritual growth.
